Our cleint is a leading independent agency offering translation, interpreting and desktop publishing services to clients in the UK and throughout the world. During the last 20 years they have built up an enviable record of high quality services provided by a team of proven experts.
Our client is keen to start their business development team and would be interested in hearing from motivated and charismatic self-starters to source new translation and localisation business for the Translation and Localisation Services department of the Translation Division. The position would report directly to the UK Business Development Director and offer plenty of scope for an ambitious individual.
Ideally we are seeking sales professionals with a second language European language.
Applicants should have sales experience and a proven track record in a business-to-business environment, gained in the translation industry. It is likely that the applicants would come from a professional services or strong sales background and will have a focussed 'hands on' approach. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are a prerequisite.
The role would involve achieving sales targets by:
Identifying new business and markets and closing sales
Identifying and researching new business opportunities in strategic areas of growth as agreed internally
Sourcing and developing leads
Attending trade shows and conferences as required
The position would be located in prestigious offices in Surrey and would offer an excellent basic salary and the opportunity to earn target-based commission. |
