The post holder will be managing a small team of telesales representatives and will be in charge of:
- developing the business so that it can reach its potential in its market sector,
- preparing quotes and close sales,
- achieving a sales target in line with the annual budget,
- managing all telesales activities,
- establishing a strong portfolio of work arising from national and international tendering processes,
- creating a presence on the market by visits and presentations to potential clients,
- maintaining and developing the client database,
- supervising all sales and marketing communication,
- ensuring that the current structure for customer care is maintained and enhanced.

Your detailed responsibilities will include:

High-level account management, including regular contact with all existing clients to oversee accounts, attending major project kick-off and post-mortem meetings and keeping in regular contact with all Account Managers and Account Management Team Leads.

Weekly forecasting of new and prospective projects to facilitate resource planning for other managers.

Growing current and new client accounts, ensuring revenue targets are achieved and the maximum potential is exploited from every account.
Proactive account management of current and future clients with special attention paid to profit margin.
Undertaking research and business development planning, as required, to support current and potential future sales initiatives.
Taking full part in brainstorming initiatives and making recommendations for new business developments or improvements to existing services/clients.
Developing and implementing an effective sales plan with a clear vision and practical actions in the short- as well as on the long-term.



Requirements:


The ideal candidate will have experience of the Spanish market and with a proven track record in selling into businesses that require localisation and translation services.

Experience creating and developing marketing plans (planning, objectives, market segmentation, brand management, positioning, image, Web page management) for medium-sized companies. Mid- and long-term strategy development.

- Extensive knowledge of the translation industry
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record within sales
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong ability to develop and manage long-term business relationships
- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and in a target-driven environment
- Competitive drive and determination
- Fluent in Spanish with a high level of English (other languages very welcome, e.g. German, French, etc.)
