My client, one of the world's leading tanslation and localization specialists is looking for a highly experienced Chinese Lead Linguist.
We require:
Translator/Revisor, experienced in localization, preferably with experience in the field of video-editing and/or sound-editing software (perhaps someone who has worked for a TV or radio station, or has been a journalist for a an audio or music journal, or a news broadcaster.
Tasks:
Create style guide for a client who develops non-linear editing tools for videos and films, and sound-editing software.
Liaise with client's distributor in China, to assess their needs and understand their preferences
TRANSLATE short marketing pieces for this client.
Act as the lead linguist for user documentation and online help
Provide feedback to external translators
Implement corrections
Check final page-layout
