The Client
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's most established providers of translation and localization services. In addition to focusing on quality in their team members, they are also highly technology-driven and develop their services around the most up-to-date software applications and TM techniques available.
With a primary focus on technical translations (holding many prestigious accounts within the high-tech manufacturing industry, in addition to strong business partnerships in the field of medical devices and life sciences manufacturers), our client is looking to build on this European market strength and target some of the USA's major providers in these sectors.
The Candidate
In addition to active hunting for new business opportunities, the BDM's responsibilities will also include leveraging the many successful contracts which our client already holds with US-based organizations. The role will thus include a balance between account management/development and new business acquisition.

Applicants should be comfortable dealing with senior managerial figures and company directors, and possess detailed knoweldege of language service requirements in technical industries.
The role will initially be home based, with the potential to establish a permanent presence if sales volumes increase in accordance with business objectives.
OTE for the position is expected to be $80-90k for year one, rising to $110k+ in year 2. |
