We are seeking a senior-level German translator with a specialization in technical documentation for a Team Lead position.
The candidate should have 3+ years' experience of working with technical texts from English to German, ideally covering fields such as heavy machinery, high-tech manufacturing, medical devices and automotive.
The Language Lead will head a small team of in-house translators in addition to having overall responsibility for out-sourced translations in the German language. Additional tasks will include:
- maintenance, management and on-going improvement of TM database
- selection and co-ordination of in-country translation vendors
- senior proof-reading and language-specific QA responsibilities |
