Business Development Manager, Germany
The Business Development Manager, Germany, is responsible for the devising, executing and delivery of new business and business opportunities together with the management and development of existing clients
within germany and across the rest of europe.
The successful applicant must be highly motivated and undertake all responsibilities and actions necessary to provide the required revenue streams.
The position is currently based from the applicant’s home office in Germany.
Purpose and Scope
The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing sales for localization and translation services to new German clients within defined industry sectors.
Responsibilities will include:
•Devising and executing new business development strategy in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Director to generate new business
•The identification, development and establishment of new business opportunities within Germany to meet target revenue and gross margin expectations
•Generating your own leads and cold calling
•The management of the new business development process and reporting of same to the Sales Director including forecasting and budgeting
•Attendance at sales and marketing events, conferences and exhibitions
•Extensive travel within Germany, Austria and Switzerland to visit prospective clients and develop commercial relationships |
